About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Khattra Transport inc. as a Technical Support Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support: Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Research and Implement Solutions: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Train and Advise Users: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use technology effectively.
  • Log and Maintain Technical Issues: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in Software Development: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Supervise Technical Support Team: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Provide Business Systems Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set Up Equipment: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Backup and Recovery Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their technical needs and concerns.
About the Team

The Technical Support Analyst will be part of a dynamic team at Khattra Transport inc., working closely with other technical support specialists, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver excellent technical support services.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a business or industry setting.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Language: English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with users and stakeholders.
