We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests, whether written or verbal.
  • Entering all patient and prescription details into the system.
  • Handling all tasks related to stock ordering, receiving, and returns, checking expiry dates, managing balances, and making inventory adjustments.
  • Following merchandising initiatives, operational protocols, and company policies.
  • Providing the pharmacist with information on allergy interactions and relevant billing details.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or a minimum of 2 years of experience in dispensing.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Kroll computer systems is advantageous.
