We are seeking a highly skilled Character Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Character Artist, you will be responsible for creating game-ready clothing and accessories for our games.
Responsibilities:- Design and create high-quality, game-ready clothing and accessories using industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Marvelous Designer.
- Work closely with the art team to ensure consistency and quality in character design and clothing creation.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of character creation, clothing design, and texturing techniques.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of clothing and accessories into the game.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in character creation and clothing design.
- 3+ years of experience in character creation and clothing design for games.
- Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, and Substance Painter.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and cloth deformation.
- Experience with high-fidelity 3D modeling and sculpting techniques.
- Knowledge of PBR texture and material workflows.
- Ability to interpret concept art and limited photo reference and translate it into a successful 3D representation.
- Photo-real character modeling and texturing - hair, clothing, and likeness.
- Full game-ready outfits that demonstrate your workflow.
- Concept to model experience is a plus.
