About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Integration Specialist to join our team at KTek Resourcing. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust API integration solutions using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • API Design and Development
    • Design and document APIs and integration solutions in a customer-facing environment using Java.
    • Develop and implement RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML-based solutions.
  • Integration and Messaging
    • Implement asynchronous messaging technology to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
    • Integrate with various platforms, including Kafka, Dell Boomi, and API management tools like Postman and Swagger.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead the development of applications from scratch using the Spring framework.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical concepts are effectively communicated to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API integration and development.
    • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Desirable Skills
  • Azure Experience
    • Familiarity with Azure Storage, Azure Relational Databases, and Key Vault.
  • Agile Development
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • DevOps
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery using tools like Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
