Qualifications
Experience:
- Instructors: Minimum of two years of teaching experience and five years of clinical practice preferred.
- Teaching Assistants: Recent graduates from the CCNM Boucher program are encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching adult learners, especially in practicum or tutorial settings, is advantageous.
Education:
- Healthcare professional registered in British Columbia (ND, DC, MD, etc.).
- Training in teaching methods, curriculum development, and evaluation at the post-secondary level is a plus.
- Ideal candidates will hold a Master's or PhD in relevant fields.
- Additional qualifications may be required based on specific courses.
Skills:
- Ability to inspire and engage students effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential.
- A solid research publication record is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective interactions with students and colleagues.
- A demonstrated commitment to student success is crucial.
Compensation:
CCNM offers a competitive base rate of $80.00 per hour for scheduled instructional time. For first-time instruction of a course, an additional 25% will be added to the base rate. Teaching Assistants will receive a rate of $55.00 per hour.
