We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Billing Accountant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and healthcare billing, with a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:- Manage and process all healthcare billing activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing activities
- Monitor and analyze billing trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing issues
- Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and procedures
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
