Great North Wellhead & Frac is seeking a skilled individual with a robust mechanical background and wellhead expertise. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and prioritize safety and quality in all operations.

This role involves both shop and field work, requiring the ability to efficiently organize and manage work assignments, provide guidance to team members, and collaborate effectively to achieve outstanding results. If your experience aligns with our requirements, we invite you to consider joining our team as a Lead Wellhead Technician.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with various shift options and potential for overtime.

Compensation: Starting at $32 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field service tasks including assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing of wellhead equipment.
  • Coordinate customer work assignments to meet quality standards and service delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance both shop and field performance.
  • Conduct repairs on customer property as needed.
  • Maintain service units, tools, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare for audits to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to building a strong service team through knowledge sharing and cross-training.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with wellhead or frac equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience in gate valve repair.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 license (non-GDL).
  • Picker experience and certification are considered an asset.
  • Current certifications in H2S, First Aid, and CSO.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Familiarity with the DISCORD app is advantageous.
