Inventory Control Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cycle counts, slot audits, and reconciliation of activities between systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily cycle counts, slot audits, and reconciliation of activities between systems
- Oversee the slotting of product in the Distribution Centre
- Oversee all Customer Claim activity
- Create promotional plans for upcoming promotional activity
- Manage DC Article Layout
- Oversee Customer Quality
- Ensure timely reporting and communication to the proper staff as needed
- Data entry including daily adjustments
- Plan, execute, and reconcile physical inventories
- Prepare analysis of adjustments activities report
- Research to reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Investigate credit issues and ensure timeliness of customer and vendor issues
- Actively participate in Health and Safety initiatives, including workplace inspections, employee safety observations, and training
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory control and warehousing industry
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
- Computer applications experience using MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in varying facility conditions
