Job Summary
CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back of House Lead - Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, including allergen protocols and food safety procedures.
- Cook and prepare meals at all production stations, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our customers.
- Manage inventory levels, place orders with suppliers, and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Assist in the training and development of new kitchen staff, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and service.
- Conduct regular line checks to ensure food quality, taste, texture, and presentation meet our standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of clean and safe workstations, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Ensure all food handling and kitchen safety procedures are followed, prioritizing the health and safety of our staff and customers.
- Monitor production expediency, ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently and to our high standards.
- Provide feedback to our kitchen management team on staff performance and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure that our food specifications are met and exceeded on every order, providing exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Manitoba Food Handlers certification
- Excellent coaching and team-building skills
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal, and written
- Outstanding organization and coordination skills
- Ability to be proactive in challenging situations
- Open and flexible availability
