Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Operations Supervisor to oversee our grounds maintenance team at GREEN CITY LANDSCAPING & YARD CARE LTD. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our landscaping services.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors.
  • Conditions may be hot and physically demanding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee grounds maintenance activities.
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for projects.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction tasks.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and recommendations to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Establish work schedules and operational procedures.
  • Assist with the pruning of trees, shrubs, and plants.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.

Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with forklifts, pick-up trucks, sod cutters, and tractors is essential.
