Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Device Reprocessing Supervisor to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Medical Device Reprocessing Department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Three (3) years' experience in Medical Device Reprocessing Department
  • Management/supervisory experience required
  • Completion of Grade 12 education required
  • Bachelor of Science degree or post-secondary education in a healthcare related field required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills
  • Supplementary courses in leadership, communication, quality assurance preferred
  • Knowledge of computer systems and current and related software applications
