Pharmacy Technician Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions and provide accurate information to customers
  • Process prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations
Requirements:
  • Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
  • Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
  • Previous pharmacy experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
