About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Project Manager to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for leading and supporting complex internal audits and special projects that add value and deliver independent assurance to our management and board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support internal audits and special projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations, risks, and controls to inform audit planning and execution.
  • Design and execute audit tests to deliver sufficient and compelling data to support audit conclusions.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommended actions to internal audit management and drive alignment with management.
  • Prepare written audit work papers and perform quality reviews of work papers created by other team members.
  • Perform follow-up with management on timely audit action closure.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or controls/compliance focused activities, including experience leading audits or projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related degree program.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams, coach less experienced colleagues, and provide ad-hoc consultation to management on risk and control matters.
  • Strong analytical skills, good business acumen, and communication skills.
  • Certification or working toward certification in Auditing, Accounting, or Finance-related area (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.).
