About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Bell. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality news content for our digital and television platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews and write engaging news articles
  • Shoot and edit video content for TV and digital platforms
  • Develop and propose original story ideas and concepts
  • Maintain a network of contacts and sources
  • Configure and use live equipment as needed
  • Ensure accuracy, ethics, and legal compliance in all content creation
  • Other assigned tasks
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, film, communications, or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of experience in TV/web news reporting
  • Proven experience in news reporting and ability to perform in front of the camera
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, and knowledge of local, national, and international news and current events
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of social networks and the audience
  • Proven filming and editing abilities
  • Proven organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines
  • Good editorial judgment; demonstrated ability to produce original and enterprising news reports
  • Ability to manage new and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of iNews an asset
  • Valid driver's license and good record
  • Bilingualism required; In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
