Job Overview:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Design, Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of years of experience in business analysis. Diploma in a design or technology discipline or a related field, complemented by additional years of experience in business analysis. Professional Experience: Proven experience in business analysis for technical products, particularly in incident management technology. Demonstrated ability in business analysis activities aimed at process or service transformation, including the creation of training, educational, and marketing materials to facilitate client onboarding and enhance adoption of new processes. Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Collaborative experience with developers and UX/UI designers to effectively communicate user requirements. Background in Agile software development environments, working within multidisciplinary teams to iteratively develop and refine digital products and services. Proficiency in UX Design methodologies and tools, such as journey maps, service blueprints, and personas. Understanding of the application design and development lifecycle. Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders. Excellent presentation and writing capabilities. Knowledge of ticket and incident management technologies, with a preference for Jira Service Management, JIRA, and Confluence. Additional Skills and Experience:
Responsibilities include: Identifying, defining, modeling, and documenting business requirements, including: Modeling and documenting technical solutions, Developing and presenting business cases, including feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses of alternative solutions, Defining and documenting product requirements and funding for development and ongoing support, Creating presentations, reports, and submissions necessary for client approval and funding from executive or treasury boards, and Developing comprehensive work plans; Engaging professionally with a diverse range of individuals in various roles (executives, contractors, technical experts, end-users) to: Implement automated business processes, Establish service agreements with consumers and suppliers, Develop appropriate service management processes, Create training and educational materials, and Provide application maintenance support. Quality Assurance: Overseeing the quality of delivered business solutions to ensure they meet established standards, Monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, and costs, and Conducting technical reviews and audits to secure necessary approvals prior to implementation.
