About the Role

As a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician at Kal Tire, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance on a wide range of vehicles in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on a variety of vehicles in a dynamic environment.
  • Diagnose, execute, and perform adjustments for automotive services.
  • Provide general maintenance on automobiles, including tire rotations and brake inspections.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repair options and recommend services.
  • Maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Requirements

  • You have completed your Journeyperson Automotive Red Seal with experience in front-end brakes and enjoy working in a high-energy team environment.
  • You are skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on a wide variety of vehicles.
  • You have experience teaching/training Automotive Service Technician Apprentices.
  • You can assist in identifying potential mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.
  • You have a valid driver's license.
  • You are active throughout your day and can lift 30-50 lbs as needed.
  • You are safety conscious and follow safety protocols.
