Job Title: Specialized Foster Caregivers for Youth - Therapeutic Support

Enviros is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Specialized Foster Caregivers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth with complex needs. As a member of our Therapeutic Team, you will work collaboratively with a family coach, therapist, youth specialist, and cultural support to provide individualized trauma-informed support.

Job Summary

Our Specialized Foster Caregivers provide a family-based, culturally safe, short-term, out-of-home placement program to support youth with complex needs. This model incorporates a highly skilled and trained Contracted Agency Caregiver, working within a Therapeutic Team, to provide individualized trauma-informed support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and caring family home for youth with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the Therapeutic Team to provide individualized trauma-informed support
  • Develop and implement strength-based plans to support youth growth and development
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching to ensure best practices in trauma-informed care
Requirements
  • Experience in human services with vulnerable populations
  • Knowledge of strength-based practice and trauma-informed care
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level 'C' certification
  • Police Record Check with Vulnerable sector check and Child Intervention Check
