Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters into standard cuts

  • Remove bones and weigh meats accurately
  • Prepare and price meat products for customers
  • Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters
  • Prepare special displays and orders for customers
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with manual cutting utensils
  • Familiarity with slicing machines
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
