Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of our pharmacy, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, dispensing medication, and maintaining the dispensary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Practice within federal and provincial regulations, maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy.
  • Workflow and Inventory Management: Control access to the dispensary, review stock to identify expired inventory, and ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments, provide coaching to pharmacy colleagues, and complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops.
