Job Title: AVP Senior Auditor
Job Summary:
The Senior Auditor is a critical role within Citigroup Inc.'s Internal Audit team, responsible for conducting moderately complex audits and assessments of the company's risk and control environments. This position requires a high level of subject matter expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal audit standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement audit plans, including drafting reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address emerging risks, and develop solutions to improve audit processes.
- Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope.
- Develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders and team members, demonstrating expertise and influencing audit decisions.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
- Effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Subject matter expertise in audit technology and risk management.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise independence of judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Ability to be flexible, resilient, and adjust priorities as needed.
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
