We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson (Mechanical Technician/Technologist) to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and sketches for mechanical, electrical, and civil systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and revise drawings and sketches for equipment and piping systems using AutoCAD technology.
- Develop bills of material to accompany drawings.
- Prepare and revise electrical and mechanical-type operational flowsheets.
- Participate in walkdowns of the plant to ensure configuration management is supported.
- High School or equivalent, and two-year college diploma in a related field of study.
- Minimum 2 years (4,000 hours) drafting experience required.
- 5-8 years within Power Generation/industrial setting preferred.
- Proficient with Autocad and Raster Design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.
