Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems. This is a permanent position requiring a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Provide customer service and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail. The work site environment is dusty, dirty, and noisy.
