Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, examining welds, and ensuring they meet standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment and possess strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy industrial environment with a fast-paced work pace. The role requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in welding or a related field is an asset
