Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time (0.63 FTE) position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, including assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve their respiratory health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
