About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Innovation department at Farm Mutual Re. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining current dashboards and assisting in the development of new dashboards, charts, and visual aids to analyze data and enable informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and delivering current annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and update data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support business decision making
  • Analyze data to answer key questions from business partners, growing and building an understanding of what drives business performance
  • Assist with the design, development, and monitoring of data pipelines, transformations, and/or data modeling, including constructing ETL packages for Data Transformation and Integration between different applications
  • Support the creation of templates and documentation, including a data dictionary and data catalogue, and other templates as required to build new Data & Insights capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a foundation in data modeling & analytics
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Some experience with data languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel
  • Analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, analyze, and present datasets
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile Frameworks
  • Proven data analytic skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
