Infrastructure Ontario is seeking a Senior Advisor, Development to join our Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) - Subways business unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide advisory services to support key government infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with internal and external consultants, key partners, and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present solutions to support the delivery of commercially viable projects that maximize the utility of land to construct complete communities.
- Enhance and manage partnerships with municipalities, Provincial agencies, crown corporations, and the public to drive project success.
- Prepare business cases, including financial and/or planning analysis, to inform project decisions.
- Manage and secure entitlements, coordinate site due diligence, and prepare works to support project delivery.
- Assist in navigating government approvals and commercial negotiations to ensure project success.
- Extensive experience in real-estate deal environments, with a focus on mixed-use commercial/retail/residential development or infrastructure along subway or GO/LRT stations.
- Project management experience in urban/land use/real-estate planning, development, or infrastructure project delivery.
- Relevant professional learnings and competencies developed through education and experience in urban/land use/real-estate planning, development, or infrastructure project delivery.
- Experience in feasibility assessments for development projects and working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in coordinating external consultants and advisors to support project delivery.
- A competitive salary range of $82,800 to $124,100 (P4 level), with pay aligned to skills, knowledge, and experience.
