Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans for prioritization, taking into account factors such as supply chain disruptions, weather conditions, and traffic congestion.
  • Coordinate Operational Logistics: Organize and manage the flow of goods and supplies, ensuring that they are delivered to the right place at the right time.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and Track Shipments: Use data and analytics to monitor the movement of goods and supplies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Dispatch Personnel and Vehicles: Coordinate the dispatch of personnel and vehicles, ensuring that they are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge of Highway Trucking Rules: Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and guidelines governing highway trucking, ensuring compliance and minimizing the risk of fines and penalties.
  • Process and Transmit Information: Use technology and communication systems to process and transmit information, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Organize and Manage Inventory: Use data and analytics to optimize inventory levels, ensuring that the right products are in stock at the right time.
Work Environment and Requirements:
  • Work under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
