Job Description

As an Advanced Audio Visual Technician at Proshow Audiovisual, you will play a critical role in supporting our technical operations in various venues throughout Western Canada. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of technicians, setting up, operating, and tearing down audio visual equipment for a wide range of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Operations: Lead a team of technicians in setting up, operating, and tearing down audio visual equipment for events.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the maintenance, testing, and cleaning of audio visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing timely and effective support to clients and event staff.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with clients, venues, and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage staff and subcontractors working on job sites to ensure Proshow standards are met.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of audio visual equipment, computer networking, and software infrastructure.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage teams, including staff and subcontractors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair audio visual systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
