Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Maintenance Technician to join our team at Freeway Truck Repair & Tire Shop Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Repair or Replace Mechanical Units: Perform repairs or replacements of mechanical units or components as needed.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete Reports: Prepare and submit reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer excellent customer service to clients.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
