Job Summary:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families, consulting and collaborating with other healthcare providers as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuously improve nursing care
• Maintain and advance your clinical competence through ongoing education and training
• Participate in hospital committees and research projects as assigned
About this Opportunity:
This is a casual opportunity, which means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts may be scheduled at short notice. However, this can be a great way to gain experience and build your skills before moving into a permanent role.
Work Schedule:
Shifts will be scheduled on a rotating basis, including days and nights, from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.
