As a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist at CAE Inc, you will play a critical role in managing our organization's cyber technologies, reviewing and approving security requests, analyzing and improving security tools and controls, creating security reports and metrics, and providing security support for our client training centers in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage various cyber technologies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Review and approve security requests, such as privileged access rights, firewall rules, software installation, and more.
- Analyze and improve security tools, processes, and controls to enhance our security posture and performance.
- Monitor and audit security configurations and compliance using Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in incident response, providing technical guidance, coordination, and support to respond to and recover from security incidents.
- Research and stay updated on the latest Cybersecurity trends, threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
- Participate in security awareness and training programs for staff and clients.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity operations, preferably in a Government of Canada military environment.
- Ability to travel to various Canadian Training centers required.
- Professional certification in Cybersecurity and cloud technologies, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SANS, AWS, Azure Sentinel, etc.
- Proficient in DLP and other Cybersecurity technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, CMMC, etc.
- Familiarity with security tools and services, such as Sentinel, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and French.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (asset).
