Job Summary

The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts for our customers. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and special customer orders
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Draw up production schedules
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
