About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for harvesting crops, including vegetables, fruits, and other plant-based products. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Harvest crops, including vegetables, fruits, and other plant-based products
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- Cultivate on vertical farming systems
- Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
- Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- Sort fruits and vegetables
- Tie and secure plants
- Weeding and cleaning work areas
- Experience in agricultural labor or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work in a team environment
