Chief Engineer Job Description

The Chief Engineer is a critical role at Fish Recruit, responsible for the operation and maintenance of our 1st Class powerhouse. This involves overseeing complex systems, including ammonia and refrigeration systems, steam systems, HVAC, plumbing, water supply, and fire protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to our team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our powerhouse, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of our systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our systems remain state-of-the-art.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in power generation and maintenance.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of ammonia and refrigeration systems, steam systems, HVAC, plumbing, water supply, and fire protection.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
