Job Summary

Gulfian Resources Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, report any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation, valid driver's license, willing to travel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Valid driver's license.
