Hotel Housekeeping Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at The Prairie Creek Inn. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean and tidy, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as needed.
- Restock linens, toiletries, and other amenities in guest rooms.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Handle and report lost and found items.
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
