About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team at SmartStyle Hair Salon. As a Salon Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Management
  • Lead by example and set high standards for yourself and your team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Manage staff schedules, performance, and development.
• Customer Service
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Operations and Administration
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon, including inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Manage the salon's budget and financials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Training and Development
  • Provide training and coaching to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff performance.
• Recruitment and Hiring
  • Recruit and hire new staff members.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions.

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a salon management role.
