Job Title: Senior Sales Associate

Scotiabank is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Associate to join our Sales & Partnerships team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new online brokerage accounts and deliver exceptional client onboarding experiences.
  • Manage all inbound telephone calls or emails from existing and new clients for account openings and brokerage transfers.
  • Develop and implement structured outbound calling strategies to deepen client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with key Bank partners to execute client acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to the implementation of Scotia iTRADE marketing strategies to maximize opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
  • University degree or work equivalency.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience in a sales, relationship, or account management role.
  • Expert verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Expert interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French and English).
  • Experience working with standard Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
Working Conditions:

The incumbent works out of a Contact Centre environment, interacting with clients via phone and email. The position is subject to unpredictable volumes with call and correspondence due to market volatility.

Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French because they will be required to work closely with other groups from head office who operate primarily in English and they will serve and English-speaking clientele.
