Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Torbill Holdings Ltd. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Journal Entries and Posting: Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update database software to ensure accurate and efficient financial record keeping.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office, with experience in database software and Yardi system.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance and criminal record check required.
