About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Eastside Liquor Ltd. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Sales: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with self-checkout, and provide support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling restricted products.
Work Environment

As a Cashier at Eastside Liquor Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods. You must be able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
