Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and their vehicles are returned to them in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair complex automotive problems, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient service.
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, ensuring that our customers receive accurate diagnoses and effective repairs.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts and Components: Use your technical skills to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality repairs and maintenance.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that our customers receive transparent and competitive pricing.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the service they receive and their vehicles are returned to them in excellent condition.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player
