Position Overview:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the architecture, management, and documentation of cloud-based solutions across the organization. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and automate enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Act as the cloud subject matter expert, assisting in business projects and initiatives, including the research, design, and implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Provide operational support by diagnosing and resolving escalated technical challenges.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for current and future cloud solutions, including policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and optimize cloud systems.
  • Identify skill gaps within the cloud team and implement training programs to ensure adherence to established standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and a minimum of 10 years in the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as HashiCorp or Terraform.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficient in cloud-based productivity services, including Microsoft 365.
  • Advanced skills in scripting languages, notably Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Experience in technical analysis and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment:

  • This position allows for remote work, with occasional requirements to be on-site as business needs dictate.
