Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Brightcity electrical and general contractor is seeking a skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Lead and manage a team of construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete projects efficiently.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Conduct thorough cost estimates and material planning to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Set Up Equipment: Ensure all necessary equipment is set up and ready for use, and that workers are properly trained to operate it.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement strategies to meet project deadlines and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
