- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Support Patient Mobility and Safety
- Assist patients with walking, transferring, and positioning
- Use proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Ensure patient safety by removing hazards and tripping obstacles
- Maintain a Clean and Comfortable Environment
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
- Assist with laundry and linen services
- Keep patient areas clean and tidy
- Communicate Effectively
- Report patient concerns and needs to nursing staff
- Communicate with patients and families in a respectful and empathetic manner
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
