Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Media Cloud team. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop software and cloud-based infrastructure for an enterprise video service supporting media upload, processing, and playback at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software and cloud-based infrastructure for an enterprise video service.
  • Deliver user-focused, high-quality, and performant features while navigating and reducing complexity.
  • Contribute to process and tooling improvements, including systems for continuous integration and automated testing.
  • Write and maintain proven, robust, efficient, and maintainable code in Python.
  • Write reliable unit and integration tests that will run on our CD pipeline.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience developing web applications and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products as part of a multi-functional team.
  • ~4+ years of programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript.
  • Experience communicating technical ideas across contexts and audiences.
  • Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with JavaScript and related frameworks such as React.
  • Has experience developing multimedia or streaming video technologies.
  • Experience in delivering cloud-based web applications in AWS.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, build pipelines, continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring utilities.
