RN Design Limited is a renowned design firm specializing in residential development. With a proven track record of success and a passion for excellence, we are seeking a skilled Residential Designer to join our dynamic organization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to lead our design projects, working on conceptual designs and communicating directly with clients to present design concepts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, managing multiple deadlines, and working closely with Project Managers to ensure design concepts are developed into working drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects, working on conceptual designs and communicating directly with clients to present design concepts.
  • Develop strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction with consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Manage multiple deadlines, ensuring projects stay within projected timelines and communicating with clients and Senior Management on progress in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure design concepts are developed into working drawings.
  • Responsible for contract documentation, including municipal approvals, drawing reviews, and conducting site visits.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Architectural Design.
  • 5+ years of experience in Residential design.
  • Strong knowledge of OBC, BCIN is an asset.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and MS Office software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with a strong ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and high standard of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong initiative skills and ability to adapt in a consistently changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail during times of limited supervision.
