Moxie's Grill & Bar is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment that requires a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Moxie's Grill & Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Lead by ExampleModel exceptional customer service and lead by example, ensuring that all staff are providing a high level of service to our customers.
Manage Budget and Cost EstimatesPrepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Address Customer ConcernsAddress customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Maintain Records and ReportsMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Work with the ChefPrepare and submit food order summaries for the chef, and ensure that all food orders are accurate and complete.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
Work SettingRestaurant environment.
Transportation/Travel InformationPublic transportation is available.
Personal SuitabilityFlexibility, team player, and dependability.
