Position Overview
The Analyst, Research position at QuadReal is located in Vancouver and reports directly to the Vice President of Global Research & Strategy. This role involves close collaboration with the Global Research team to support QuadReal's worldwide investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of global real estate market dynamics by monitoring and analyzing data related to economic indicators, demographic shifts, and capital market trends.
- Support real estate investment assessments and contribute to investment documentation by delivering insightful market analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive research on international markets, investment themes, and trends to guide investment strategies.
- Enhance the identification and utilization of quantitative methodologies and tools for in-depth analysis.
- Participate in the creation of presentations that outline market trends and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain and update proprietary databases, analytical tools, and financial models.
- Stay informed about significant political, economic, and market developments that influence global real estate investments.
- Collaborate effectively with teams based in Vancouver and other international locations.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, complemented by strong academic performance and a genuine interest in real estate.
- A minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate or institutional investment, research, finance, or economics. International experience is considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical capabilities, with proficiency in managing and analyzing data sets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and data visualization tools is a plus.
- A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while advancing projects independently.
