Position Overview

  • Deliver patient and family-centered care within the LPN scope of practice
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in the evaluation and documentation of patient health conditions
  • Assist in formulating and executing the Care Plan
  • Serve as a role model for safe and effective practices
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Recent experience in acute care nursing
  • Proficiency in IV therapy, health education, and central venous access
  • Understanding of complex medical conditions and wound management
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Dedication to professional growth and quality enhancement
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to patient and family-centered care

Qualifications

  • LPN diploma from an accredited nursing institution
  • LPN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BLS certification is mandatory
  • Physical assessment training is preferred
