Your Role:

As an Optical Associate, you will be a vital part of our operations, providing world-class service and ensuring that patients feel valued and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on the best eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive optimal value and quality.
  • Educating patients about the latest advancements in eyewear technology and assisting them in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and functional needs.
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions accurately as provided by optometrists.
  • Conducting precise measurements for frame fitting and making necessary adjustments to ensure comfort.
  • Managing contact lens orders and assisting with fittings.
  • Communicating effectively with patients in various formats.
  • Handling billing processes for patients and their insurance providers.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient records efficiently.
  • Welcoming patients warmly as they arrive.
  • Upholding high standards of customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail.
  • Previous experience in the optical field is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Proficiency in using technology and computer systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
